awesome keep posting.I looked art peak and \wildhare baby extras ..my heitancy is that I own a seagull extra 260(180size) and some of the feedback I have gotten all suggest the dle30 for 3d performance may be marginal.the plane will weigh in at 13 pounds when flying.I thought maybe of getting a carbon langing gear but I dont think it will shed much weight though a one piece gear would be stronger.

I also looked abell rc they have a 120 size plane that weighs in under 11 pounds. my thing is I want to be able to hover a bit and pull straight up .funny thing is I dont really do it much I tend to fly more precision aerobatics but I want good power ..hey your posts are helpful anymore information on performance is much appreciated.

I suspect we'll see more and more airframes that are well suited for 26 to 30 cc gassers.I love the 120 size planes any bigger is just unmanagable for my tastes although I have been there.
I am running the SAP 180HP (Syssa 30 cc) in pattern planes with full tuned exhaust systems. Outstanding performance and as quiet as glow

Also am running the SAP180 in an Extreme Flight Extra, 78" wing. It is a large plane but only weighs 11# 5 ozs and the SAP powers it extremely well. I have mine set-up with pipe...the EF eXTRA has a full pipe tunnel built in so if you want a ride on the wild side, try this combo.

I have a thread in the Pattern Forum that discusses the details of piped SAP180.
