I have a original rustler (first two or so years into the production of the, looks kind of like yours, the electronics are all now futaba(tx,rx,servo), a lrp esc, and i cant remember but it has a 19t double wind brushed motor (how I got it) and i havent made any changes to it , and i love bashing the hell out of it as is,But i will upgrade it to xl-5 and titan 12t when i go brushless on my slash and the original rustler red and white body in flawless condition
