RE: what was your first radio system?
After flying control line for 20 years, I got into RC with a Kraft Series '73 7 channel single stick system in 1973 and bought a Kraft BiCentenial '76 7 channel single stick in 1976. The Kraft BiCentenial is narrow band and works and flys to this day. Flew Kraft into the '80s when I built an Ace Silver 7 single stick system. Around 1990 I bought a Ace MP8000 single stick with which I am still flying. When 2.4 mhz radios hit the market I bought a Futaba 7C Fasst system with which I learned to fly dual stick. Then this past Christmas I got a Futaba 8FG which I really like.
