RE: what was your first radio system?
Controlaire Mule (single channel tone transmitter), Controlaire 5 receiver and rubber band powered escapement, single channel in a Goldberg 1/2A Falcon. Had good success with single channel through 6 airplanes and at least 20 flights each until my first proportional radio, a kit built M.A.N. 2-3-4 system.
