The carbs I put on the MT35 have a detent choke, they don't come that way but I modify them with the correct Walbro parts. I can also sell the parts for those that want to convert their high idle choke system to the detent type.

There is no published temp range that I know of for the engines we use, I think mainly this is because 99.9% of people would not invest in the proper equipment to be able to monitor it accurately, an infrared temp gun won't cut it. But to answer the question, anything less than about 190F is stone cold, average temp over the duration of a flight should be 250-280F with max highs for very short periods around 300-310F. Temps consistently exceeding 300F as measured on the outside of the cylinder, for more than a few seconds will do damage that is accumulative in nature.
