Even still the Edge is pretty demanding in terms of being a point and shoot kinda plane (there's definitely no
self-correcting tendencies in the design) and engine out flight (it does slow well, but that might lead to a false sense of confidence in deadstick senarios). If I were looking to a 2nd model, I'd pass on the Edge and look into the CG Tiger 60, Sig 4 Star 60, or ModelTech Dragon Lady. Any one of these models would fit the bill for a good 2nd model. And all can be quite aerobatic when pushed, the Dragon Lady probably being the most aerobatic since I believe it's got a fully symmetrical wing (at least my 40 did).
