Yes I am familiar with ribbon cable, it was just that I did not want to force the 12-22R receiver apart, without knowing what problems it may cause.
After a bit of work it came apart easily, it was just held by the number of pins. Replaced the cable with one a lot longer, and it works perfectly.
Now however I have the receiver set up into my SM Viperjet (the large one)and to change the subject now to find out why I have a bad air leak on the gear doors, and after that
to check the retracts.
Oli when are you flying down this way???
