Default RE: Official Parkzone Extra 300 thread

Same issue here with the landing gear and the upthrust. I went to an APC 12*6. Seems to be a different plane. With the APC it seems to have plenty of power to hover but I'm not so sure about rudder authority. I'm having a hard time keeping it standing up in a hover and if it falls to one side or the other I can't get enough rudder to bring it back. I'm flying with a DX7 and have it set to 150% on end points. Definately need some expo on the ailerons and Elevator. It also seems to want to be landed with a little power. It's definately not a floater. I think it's going to be a great Aerobatic plane but not too sure about the 3d. Guess I'll stick to my typhoon for my throw around 3d'r. I haven't been able to get the Extra into a knife edge spin yet. I'm really not sure what you would call it but it certainly looks impressive. I think HH has hit a home run if you overlook the LG issues. I'll definately keep mine in the truck for those quick afternoon fixes in the church parking lot. Don't know that I like it enough to carry it to the field though.
