I havent had any issues with the ar500 even flying in heat. Its been in the 100s here lately. I have them in the extra and my p51d mustang. I give the mustang hell... mostly chasing birds and cows ha ha!!! broke it in half 3 times.. these foamies are awesome a little glue and tape and I'm back in the air. I'm a little more careful with the extra. As posted earlier I did put my 6110 in my stryker and had no issues with distance. the 6100 is an older version of the 6110. I don't see any issues with using it but others on here will probably say otherwise. I do love the bright orange paint scheme. keeping orientation is easy. she does like speed and doesn't do well at low speeds. it likes to wobble and dive but cruizin she is straight as an arrow.
