Default RE: ESM LA-7 From VQ Warbirds

My LA-7 has arrived today. I plan on fitting Ty's spinner and cockpit along with a gas engine. The engine hasn't been chosen yet (plenty of time to save for that) but I would appreciate any suggestions from those running gasser engines.
I too look forward to a report from someone flying a gasser in this plane. My experience (when doing a wing repair) is that the structure is extremely light and easy to break the glue bonds. I wonder what the vibration would do??
I'm still considering power plants.

Last night a friend suggested that I should use the 1.80 four stroke I have sitting in a box. It makes sense to use what I have (save some dollars) and the kit does specify a 1.80. Has anyone tried this engine combo before?
