I don't have any experience with nitro's exactly....but i have been a very casual rc person, mostly with Radio Shack / The Source (where i am The Source took over Radio Shack) vehicles..

The 2 I mainly drive are a 1/10 fwd drifter and a 1/5 nascar  (it was on sale.....don't ask)

I'm the type of person who likes to fiddle with small components and have actually wanted to get into nitros for years, just decided to take the plunge recently.  It takes an awful lot to discourge me 

From most of the horror stories i've read on numerous sites, sounds more challenging fun then disappointing discouragement (can those two words go together?)


Should be making a purchase this Saturday when the wife and i head down to the city.

Will be watching this thread closely til then.
