<table width=''500''> <tbody> <tr> <td>At first I didn't think the engine would perform as well as the DLE 55 but once the engine got a few gallons through it, the DLA 56 performed just as good. However the mounting ears broke off on my 21st flight. Only two of them was still connected and holding the engine to the plane. Not sure why but I will send it back for a replacement.</td> </tr> <tr> <td align=''right''> <div id=''195267''>Was it helpful for you</div> </td> </tr> </tbody></table><hr />The above was a cut & paste from the H.K. From the one I had it was machined, Ears breaking on any engine with stand offs is not uncommon, Sometimes it is due to the fact that the installer did not drill the holes exactly right and drilled the 5mm instead of 5.5 mm and then force the standoffs to match what they drilled.
I seen a picture posted a while back showing the ears broken on a engine and it was still mounted to the plane, You could see a 3/16" space between the broken ear and the engine.
