I’m self-employed, no paid sick days, no paid vacation time, so if I don’t work no moola comes in for airplanes. Also if a job doesn’t done get done close to the time I quoted, customers get upset. Call in sick? Not even when I’m sick.
However I have been known to take my planes and squeeze a flight in if I have a job anywhere near the flying field.
