Don't know about programming heli's as I'm a fixed wing guy [>:] but I just got my DX7 last week and I LOVE IT. I have a ultra Micro 4site bound to it, my little vapor, my 3D Foamy, and for my first 2.4 glow plane it's gonna be piloting a brand new great planes escapade...

so far not a glitch not a brown out NOTHING! going great, and a VERY easy radio to use and to program
