Back when the RTR Traxxas cars were still coming with the mechanical speed controls, it made sense.
But now, regardless of whether it's at 70/30 or 50/50, if you set up the ESC, it's going to go wide open no matter what.
why would Traxxas continue installing this feature on their radios?

this sounds like a dumb ideah but did you try adjusting the throttle trim to compensate ?
