RE: Hello from a new user. Would like some help.
Had a fun afternoon with the car.
It was running fine, for the most part, except for one strange incident.
Was doing some full speed runs driving over freshly mowed lawn, gravel lane/road, and mud ramps (filled in shallow ditches...don't ask) Had a jump when the fuel was low and it cut out. Had orginally thought it sucked up some air in the tank and went to top off the tank. Grab the ignitor and....the glow plug was missing. Wasn't the low fuel at all, but the fact that the glow plug, which i had retightened before even starting my driving, was no where to be seen.
Good news is, checked the motor all over. Threads to not look to have any problems, not stripped at all. Problem is, never even considered the plug going missing so never got a second one right away and the car didn't either. Yes, i do know that they can go bad....bad i would accepted, but gone.....that's just...insane.
Has anyone ever had a plug just...disappear?
Some of us had a difference in opinion.....State your opinions below.
Would the engine die out right away @ full throttle if the plug was tossed or popped out during a bump/jump/roll or would/could it keep running any amount weither it's 5 feet, 10 feet, 50 feet?
Soooooooooooooooooooo insane.
