Well I got sick of working on other things to numerous to mention, so I installed the Frank Bowman ring in my DLE30 engine. I placed the ring in the bore to check end gap...perfect next to none. After I put everything back together (fun for me), I put the prop back on and man...what a difference in compression. I guess I will place the engine back on the test stand & fire it up. Outside temp has got to cool a bit first. The engine was off my plane anyway to finish redoing the fire-wall. This is a plane I just got in a trade....a Cap 232...
I will run the engine in about a hour....to hot & humid outside right now. Capt,n
