Yes, you're going to need to replace the battery connector with a Deans. At least that connector is universal.
Completed mine last night. Will run a Blue Rhino (I think) 2200 at first and with this battery, all up weight came in at 50 ounces rtf. That should be a good wing loading if the power loading is adequate. At just a hair over 3 lbs and with a 400+ sq inch wing, that's a better loading than we get on two meter models (around 100 squares per lb).

Power loading however tends to be around 300W per lb for the better 2M set-ups. And I've flown one e-setup (Dave Lockhart's) that is closer to 350W per lb.; very sporty. I seriously doubt that we'll get that kind of output from the Torque/Airboss/2200 mah-4S powerplant.

What kind of watt numbers are you guys getting from this combo? Airboss Rated at 45 amps continuous, the best one can hope for with a 15V battery is around 600 W continuous and maybe 800W burst? That's about 200W per lb....maybe that's adequate and my apologies for the e-newbie commentary
