The A3 plug and Tower's muffler turns the .46NT into a strong engine. It has noticeably more power than a .46FX.
The model I inherited from a friend went from barely hovering with his .46FX to hovering with spare power to pull out with the Evolution.
W8YE is right about the APC 12.25x3.75 prop. It is a stump puller for the Evo.
You are going to get big rpm bumps with those two items. Your model is a bit heavy though for hover power with a .46 engine.
How is the power of the Evolution .46NT (tuned as the strong engine mentioned above) when compared to an OS .46AX? I have heard that the latter are a bit stronger than the FX, but it is only heresay. By the time I got around to buying OS engines in that size range, I jumped to the .55AX, so I haven't experienced the .46AX, but I hear good things about them.
Barry, what is it about the Evolution engines (glow) that you seem to like so much? This is a serious question, but any kind of answer you give will be appreciated, even something as simple as, "I just like the way that it looks". I'm not going to argue with you one bit. I like Sanye made engines.
