The original Tomahawk and Tom Tom were better looking, IMO, and had more wing area, although weaker in structural aspects. The empennage on it was very P51-styled. Some time in the early 1960s, Veco themselves redesigned both of the planes to look more like a Flite Streak without the fixed flaps, with the swept back tail fin, particularly, and a forward-positioned canopy compared to the original pair.
