I suspect you could be having an overvoltage issue but it could also be a hardware issue ith intermittent contact. Hard to tell with glitching servo's

A club mate had a similar issue and he discovered that he had simplynot plug the battery into the switch securely. When he ran the engine the vibration was enough to cause intermittent contact.
