There was once this resin kit that would work on a King Tiger chassis, but it's been awhile and I really don't remember if the guy still offers them. I heard the material was a little brittle and hard to assemble and it leaves you with a Elefant look a like.

exactly right. an elefant upper with a KT lower leaves you with a decent running Elefant upper with a KT lower. Tracks, suspension, and wheels are completely different.
