Shaun I know personally he used to belong to the same club as me when Shaun first started building these kits his idea was to have an Elefant if it wasn’t 100% accurate then that was the least of his worries, Shaun was given an Imai Elefant to clean up by one of his friends he was also allowed to make moulds from the kit once he realised that the top half would without to much work fit a Tiger II chassis the fact that this was wrong didn’t bother him in the slightest cos he had an Elefant for less than £1000 in-fact less than £500, this made people very happy so they bought this kit with the same attitude so what if it had Tiger II running gear it was still an Elefant and one that you could buy, roll on 3 years or more and still no one has come out with an Elefant kit apart from a company in Germany this is Resin and will set you back 450€ or more and it’s a static kit that would require Aisatam metal tracks running gear motors ETC along with an Aluminium hull so that kit running will end up costing 900€ probably more and parts on the main hull would be fragile as they are resin, so Shaun’s kit still looks attractive, just think how many people built a Firefly with the latter running gear and wrong turret
