I have nothing against APC, I run them on some of my glow engines. I also run Master Airscrews. Some plane/engine combos seem to work better with different manuf. props.
I thought about getting the APC 18x6W for my E/P combo. Problem is, I am so happy with the Vess right now, I would hate to pay $20 to switch over and not be happy. At $4 a prop, I could play around a lot with different manuf's, pitches, etc., at $20+ a prop, I need to use the wait and see approach.
Someone needs to start a "rent-a-prop" business so we can try before we buy.
