Anyone know what ARF this is?
Not sure if I got the right section to post this, but here goes. This is a pic of an ARF that Igot from Tower long ago, I'd say about 10-15 yrs ago. As you can see, it's a little banged up, but I got some really good flights out of it. Needless to say I want to fly it again, so I want to restore it. Problem is I don't remember what the name of the plane is. Can't remember who makes it. The order was so long ago, Tower has no record of me or the order. Great Planes had no idea. PLEASEno comments about how the plane sucks or what I should get. I've flown it, I'm good at repairs.
So anyway, here's what I know:
One note, I have a fuel tank supporting the tail just so you can see how it is to sit normally, since I don't have an engine in it. The gear is trike (firewall is gone so no nosewheel in the pic). It is an arf, 40 size, back then MAP was about $149.99. Semisym airfoil. The only factory marking I could find was inside, on the servo tray, and it's a stamped number, 9811030601. The dual surface elevator called for one servo and "Y" pushrod. Bolt on wing, slight dihedral. No factory cowl.
Any ideas anyone?
Happy & Safe flying,
Me
