Hey guys, gunna resurrect this thread again. I was out running the Shockwave today and my flex shaft decided to come loose on me. Bummer. Well I decided to take out the motor in the boat so I could get the teflon liner and and found that one of the wires on the motor was horribly corroded. I'm not sure yet whether I should just tape it up and keep using it or try and resolder the already short wire. Here's my question though. Does anyone know offhand what size flex shaft just from looking at the pictures? The Teflon liner was super thin and literally broke as soon as I got it out. It seemed to be so soft and saturated that it bent over and tore. I'm hoping someone knows so I don't have to do a bunch of research. The specs for the motor are on the first page.
