Time to weigh the progress for a reality check.... Being that the wing is unshaped at this point and weighs over two ounces, I was quite happy to see that I'm sitting just a hair over 8oz with all equipment on board. A preliminary CG check also proved that I was in the ball park with this layout. For the record, this has been entirely TLAR up to this point. I was getting nervous about this little fact and ran the numbers - darn if things weren't spot on according to several online references.
