i bought a losi 8-ight truggy 2.0 and im having a pretty major problem

when i go to start it up on my bump box its like the moter is super compesed and wolnt turn it over. i bought it used from a guy who said its hardly be used. i took it to the local hobby shop and they said the fault does not lay in the bump box but that the motor has never been broken in and that its just tight. he said to heat it up with a heat gun to expand the metal to loosin it up. it didnt work same over compresed felling. iv tryed to take the glo plug out and see if it turns over or if its flodded. it turned over fine. i could turn it over easy with my finger. and it wasnt flooded.and i know that the bump box is allined right. any tips
