RE: New AT6 TEXAN from SEAGULL ?
Close now, but too much wind for a maiden. Left gear collapsed during several taxi laps around the runway. The G26 may be too much for this airframe. I got it airborne a couple of times, but kept it an inch off the runway. This was at about 4 or 5 clicks of throttle. I only have a 16x8 MAS on it.
I might try to add expo to the throttle to keep it from jumping off the ground.
