I had some thing similar with my os28zx. I had a losi box with two 550 motors and it just couldn't do it, li-po 2s 3s. It would spin fine untill the car was pushed on it and then it would just turn slowly. I then bought an Ofna box with two 750 motors and have had no problems at all. you may not think its your box but I would try someone else's if you can.
