I would use an OS 120AX with a 17 x 6 APC pattern prop. I have that combo on my 9lb. Venus II and love it. This is a very smooth engine and will go out of sight vertically. It is more powerfull, starts easier, and has better midrange than any 4 stroke I have seen. The other good news is that it is very happy on 10% nitro fuel.
