Your procedure is correct. Transmitter first, then receiver. And shut down is correct, reciver , then transmitter.

After you have your plane setup and operating, re bind the receiver again. Same as initial startup , with plug, etc.

Also, we have found that if the transmitter is around or setting on metal, it will not bind. Such as metal bleachers or a metal lawn chair. Get it away from the metal and no problems.

Thos are a couple of things we have discovered. But, rebinding has solved your problem here.
