Default RE: SIG Manufacturing Tour

When I was at the plant, the day before the fly-in, one of the ladies in the office said that "Mike Lee is no longer with the company"?

Mike Lee got called home to Oklahoma for a family emergncy before the fly in has and has not been able to return to Sig. This left us very short handed on during the fly in and we also had some minor flooding in the plant which made it a safety hazard to walk around in there. Sorry you were dissapointed with your trip but some things we don't have much control over.

Bob - please convey to Mike that we Sig fans hope all is well and that everything will get back to normal.

I too placed an order for a kit in December, but had to wait several months for some good balsa to arrive. Mike, without fail, always responded to my email inquiries for updates on the kit.

It's bad enough that Sig has to fight through a changing marketplace to provide kits to us, but to have serious raw material & supplier issues layered on top must be disheartening. Please hang in there - the grassroots of this hobby needs Sig more than ever right now.
