<span style="font-family: Courier New"><span style="font-size: small">After I wrote my post above I e-mailed ProBoat (turns out it goes to Horizon Hobby) expressing my dissatisfaction with the boat. I thought you might find their response intersting, given the tone of this thread:

I am terribly sorry to hear you are having problems with your boat! I
really enjoy the PT109 and never like to hear of them having problems.

If you do not want to return the boat for us to consider warranty, you
may want to get some two part, clear, 30 minute epoxy and a heat gun.
Find the point where the water is entering the hull; typically around
the outside of the stuffing box, but can be other areas. Mix the epoxy
and heat it with the heat gun until it is very liquid. Use a small
brush to paint the epoxy into the area where the water is entering the
hull, using some unheated epoxy to fill any larger holes. Be sure not
to get it on the rotating part of the prop shaft, of course.

Also, be sure to include a copy of your purchase receipt, a letter
describing the problems you've had and what's included in the box as
well as a copy of this email, your complete name and address and a day
time phone number.

There is no RA number needed at this time.
