LT-40 Nose Tail Info
The LT-40 has a rudder that's a little hard to connect a wheel to since it's above the stabilizer and ahead of the elevator. I used a Ohio Superstar tailwheel assembly without the springs. I hooked a plastic pushrod to the other side of the rudder servo and ran it to the tail wheel. Secured the outer tube at each end and let the center be free to absorb shock. Just did it yesterday and haven't flown it yet, but it looks like it will work just fine. Wanted to get used to a tail wheel plane in order to be ready for the Goldberg Cub I'm building.
