Ray44... I didn't use anything special. If I recall correctly, the blue outer portion of the nyrod went through the fuse on an angle, then I cut it flush with the side of the fuse, then a little extra CA around the edges. Cover the fuse without the yellow inner portion and then burn a hole through the covering at the exit with a soldering iron. It should be an fairly simple mod for you do to this. Imagine trying to drill through the formers and fishing the blue nyrod through those snug holes when you don't have access inside an already built fuse.

I never flew the set of wheels in those photos. They are too small. The set I fly with now are the original 3" rubber wheels on the mains and a light 1" foam wheel on the tail (another airplane was borrowing these wheels while at the time of these photos).

You'll enjoy the LT-40 more with a tailwheel. I know I did.
