I made a balsa disk for the bottom and used 1/64" plywood wrapped 1 3/4 turns around the disk.
I then made balsa doubler's with the same size opening as the hole in the wing, these were glued underneath the skin to create a gluing surface, I then dropped the assy into the hole and hysoled it into place
