Hi agine richard I sure would like to acquire another of those pin starters. Mine disappeared long ago. They were neat but you are right bout all they could do was extend the glide of a good chuck glider a bit.

I never could afford the Jetex in the fifties but finally got to it in the sixties and it was the original fuel made in the UK. I thought it worked pretty well at the times but there were lots of trouble with the fuse's failing to ignite the fuel pellet if that screen was not positioned just right.

Davis Diesel acquired Jetex rights in I beleve the early nineties and produced what was touted as a superior fuel I never ran any of these so don,t know. I did however always fantasize about the Scorpion 600 with an augmentor tube. All I ever had was the original Jetex 50.

John

Hey, I still have my pin starter. Let me see if I can find it and we can talk about your getting it from me.

I still have my original Jetex 50 with augmentor tube in the box from about 1953. No fuel or fuses left though. It is probably in a box with the pin starter. have to do some digging.

I will get back to you.

Regards,

Richard
