Thanks for the Videos! Greatly appreciated. Nice to see others out there racing around.
I just picked up an R/C 40 inch Midwest PT109 that might fair well at the SF park too. Possible chase boat for the hydro perhaps??? Anyway - I should be getting it in a couple weeks and of course - will need to do some tweaking on it (LOL). Just can't have a stock one. It'll need a few upgrades. This isn't to replace
gtopillado's tug offer by any means!!!
I'm currently working on the "insane" hydro cockpit in the midst of family operations at the homefront. I'll try to post some pics shortly of the progress. With the electric PT boat - I should be able to run just about anywhere - I'm sure the kids will love it toobut now that means I'll have to get the sail boat out of the closet and tuned (I guess). I've spoken to the Rec Center people at the
Petaluma Lucchesi park (across the street from the mini-mall on McDowell near Washington St. (housing the k-mart, hobby town USA, redwood credit union...) and they are OK with all RC sail boats and small RC electric boats (as long as the RC boat doesn't exceed mach1 speeds). I guessthe word "small"is left to interpretation!
