Default RE: CARF CT-114 Tutor 2.6m Build thread

I was thinking 2x UP 5/16 x 3/4 for the nose doors and the UP 7/16 x 1" or 1 1/4" for the mains. You think 1" will be too short, so I should buy the 1 1/4" for the mains?
The Robarts are really nice and solid, but I don't like the nipples sticking 90deg out from the side. Therefore the UP's.

One other thing: I don't like the hard and heavy Intairco main wheels. Same that was used for the CARF Lightning.
What other aftermarket wheels would fit? Would love some nice and soft air filled wheels. Axle is 1/4" and the tire dia. is about 4 1/4".
Skymaster L-39 wheels would be great, but axles are in mm as far as I know.

Also saw the BVM Rafale wheels. They are nice and fat 4 1/4" with 1/4" axle, but are they too wide??

The BVM Mig 15 wheels are much thinner, but 4"

Airpower also make nice ball raced air filled wheels, but not big enough unfortunatly...

What do you think?
