Default RE: New Product - The Tazor

Did you guys work with Carf ? Maybe you buy 10 of the Sparks then cut them up, thus paying them? like the guys that make the Rapter buy Kowawski ZX 11s. Or are you paying royalties for the unique design of Spark that you "borrowed". It's not an F-16, an F-14, Viper or even a BAE Hawk of which there are xx on the market today. Those are real jets and all models of these actual jets have striking similarities based on the fact that they are representations of real world products we admire. The Spark, on the other hand, is a model sport jet made for rc, unique in that respect (like the Pyranha and so on). No one is going to want to spend the time and money to develop a unique product if all they have to look forward to is copies of their popular works. That will really hurt everyone who looks forward to flying something new and different.

In the music industry you pay a royality if you use part of a writer's song or music in your song or music. I'm sure that a noted writer like Steve Haynes is familiar with the concepts of plagiarism, citing your source, copywright infringement, and royalities; thus, is doing everything above board. After all, it would reflect on the magozine, RCJI, that he writes for, if he was not being fair to a jet manufacturer's work, like Carf, in this case.
