Not only a shorter lunch break, but how about waiting for 3 more fliers before you have a 25-minute ''Ice Cream Break''?



Tony the Ice Cream break happened when I was helping Marcio get ready for his 3rd round. He had the radio on lipo's connected and mentally prepared. All of a sudden we get a 25 minute Ice Cream break without notice and the poor kid is left there holding the bag. No warning no real order to it at all. It's not easy to fly your best with distractions like that happening. It was strange. Marcio took it in stride but it had me stressed a tad.
Then to top it off you were second to last up in the 3rd round when the weather started rolling in. There was so much commotion happening behind you what with cell phones going off , AMA workers with loud radios blarring right behind you that I didn't know how you were able to concentrate and put in such a nice flight.
I don't know but the whole experience left me wondering about it being a national event. It left a fair amount to be desired.
I appreciate the volunteers and frankly it's not their fault.
The lunch break was too long. Plain and simple! The fact that scores were held back from rounds 1 and 2 of the finals again had me baffled. Thanks, Mike
