Ok here is a question for Rob.

Testing the pic I power it up and Porb.0 is input. I toggle the input and nothing happens.If I toggle Porb.1 a few times then PortA.2 and 3 flash and then with input from PortB.0 I get a readout to the Pc and everything works. why does this do this?
