RE: U Can Do 3D
After 80 flights, my UCD bought the farm.( I was trying to knife edge to close to the ground.)<div>
</div><div>What I learned 91 Four stroke has same pull out as LA 65 with 14x4 prop.</div><div> * Mixing out K E is a waste of time. ( it changes with speed)</div><div> * 91 2 Stroke / 120 4 stroke was what this plane wants</div><div> * Forget 3 D and use a small engine / 4 ch rx and 256 rods provided.</div><div> * servo reverser not need</div><div> * standard BB servos work OK</div><div> * CG At 6" is not needed. Just pull fuel tank back to Thr. servo tray ( no pump needed) </div><div> * Wheel pants are still on! Just put epoxy on the stress spots after every session.</div><div> * this crash could have been avoided if I had a 120 up front.</div><div> * Save your 3 D money for a different plane.</div><div>
</div><div><div> I patched it up and I will try a smoke system, something I always wanted to do.</div><div> I want to see it at full thr. with a O S LA 65 with a 14x4 prop. Blowing smoke! ( I think it may hang together .) </div></div><div>
