It's a scratch build.

I'm teaching one of the guys in my club how to build. He started this build going "I hate building, it's terrible" now all I hear from him when he's churning out a balsa wonder is "oohh" and "aaahhhh, thats so nice".

I think I might have turned him

SO there's two, one foam wing, solid surfaces, to be finished in silkspan, and mine, built up wing, built up tailplane in glass. Both are equally nice aircraft
