For rosty parts i first brush the Parts with Tamiya XF64, you can use also lighter, or darker Brown

</a>
For an better effect, if you don´t have en real rost set ( like me this time ), i use MIGRust effects and dip this with an small soft brush into the Brown color. Here you can play till it looks like you want.
At very small parts you can do it, without brown color befor, like this...
If you want, some bolts or nuts rosty, i just take the MIGRost Effect brush this around the bolt or nut and than a little downwards
With an Q-Tip you can make this much smaller, more effectfully

Befor, we brushed the Muffler, with Tamiya Brown and MIGRost Effect. What we need is more Shadows in there. Here i use Vallejo Sepia. I put this stuff on an piece of paper and than with an small softly brush i dip this on the Muffler.
Scrachtes and Chippings
For Scratches and Chippings i use darkbrown, darkgrey and Basiccolor. I put the scratches to the Modell with an 10/0 Brush. Important is that you don´t do it consistent. Befor you do it look at Original Pictures where are the Scratches, this will help very much.
At Suspension and Fenders, Bumpers are much more than on top of the turret.
First i made this with the darker color, than for more Effect direct beside the dark scratch with Basiccolour. You also can do this with Rost. For Exemple Corners around the Case.
Chippings
Easy to do and great effects....
You need an sponge and made this in little Pieces....
than you dip this into the color ( braun, - grau ) and dip this first on an piece of papier. Here you can see how much color is an the sponge. If this is ok, you dip this on the modell. Less is more
