I understand the rules and why RCU has to be careful, and I don't object to that. I just want to point out that the AMA is reproducing plans like these and making money off them. I am sure they do not have permission because they would say so if they did. The Pond collection, which they now carry, had plans that were still available from other sources. The AMA states that they will not sell those plans, and they cut them out of the Pond list. But they have no problem with plans that are not available elsewhere.
Acs, thanks for your effort (I got 'em). I'm glad people are figuring out ways to keep these old designs alive. It's not that the copyright owners are losing potential profits (when they haven't offered them for sale for years and show no intention of doing so). The only issue is whether people are going to continue building these planes or not.
