Default RE: What is the Max amperage for charging?

Have you researched to dangers with lipos? Sometime just catch fire while being charged or just stored. Never charge battery while it's sitting on a flammable surface... Wait, I'll just do some do's and dont's

Do's
Charge on non flammable surface
Say near battery while charging
Charge at 1C (mAh = charge/discharge rate, 2000 mAh = 2.0 amps)
Store in fire proof container < Important!
Use a good balance charger
Let the battery "rest" and cool off a little bit before charging

Dont's -
NEVER discharge below 3 volts per cell (9 volts total for 11.1 3s)
Drop battery
Using or charging a battery that has "puffed" up
Store fully charged or fully depleted
Charge a HOT battery

I know there is more, just cant think of them. Scoot
