I have also been doing this for a very long time and had only one runaway. It was with my monster gt which is all decked out in aluminum, including the full rollcage. I was running it on the street one day and had a receiver glitch which made it go full throttle under a parked car. I had to get a floor jack to raise the car high enough to get my truck out. fortunatly there was no damage to the mgt but it put a nice size dent in the rocker panel of the car andalso broke the brake line which I fixed for free for the guy who was very understanding.
