She looks sweet!
A lot of weight on the float tips is not unusual.
As for landing, just before she sets down (and I mean JUST before) add a few clicks of throttle. The extra pull won't be enough to keep it flying, but it WILL give it a little extra pull to overcome the extra drag of touching the water.
